Time for America to repent
Wed, 23 May 2007
The United States is at a crossroads at a major time in its history. What great spiritual awakening does God have in mind to warn the richest, most powerful, and most influential nation of an impending doom in the 21st Century? Or what doom will first come to awaken this spiritual giant? Will it be the continued acts of terrorism, war, earthquakes, hurricanes, pandemic flu, or some other catastrophe that we least expect? Will Christians in America help turn our nation back to God?
It is up to the people of America to make a choice. God has been sending powerful messages with 9-11, the hurricanes that hit the gulf coast in the past few years, and other worldwide disasters. Either we side with cultural immorality and "political correctness" or make the choice to stand with God in repentance and righteousness. God has always had a remnant of people who would stand on His side despite the collapse of the moral culture all around them. It is up to us to make the choice to continually live for God. It would be a terrible shame if America were unable to learn the valuable lesson that God wants us to learn. He is looking for a people who will seek Him and follow the commandments of His Word!
